Over the last 90 days we've seen 192 of these change hands and the data reveals a tale of two colors. Let's start with the pink background:
Pink
- Low - $26
- High - $80
- Average - $44.64
Pink is available in both TC and OS and generally speaking, there isn't that big a variance in pricing. The OS average came in at $43.15 while TC was just slightly higher at $47.34. There was a lot more inventory to choose from in OS with 114 listings closed compared to 61 for TC so that may have contributed to the slightly lower price.
As usual, fixed price listings tend run a little north of the average coming in at $46 in OS and $50 for TC. Many of the high price outliers were fixed price listings, so please don't be fooled into over paying as the auction formats can present significant savings.
Blue
- Low - $46
- High - $100
- Average - $66.78
Looks black to me but it is actually a very dark Navy. This color seems to only be available in TC, but there were only 17 of this color option sold so it's hard to say at the moment. Suffice to say it appears to be much more rare on the resale market at this time. The average fixed price on these was $75, so a bit higher than average but there were only 5 such listings to look at and there was at least one priced at $60, just below average.
If you are looking for this particular color, you will have very limited opportunity and while auctions do tend to offer better value, it may be worth biting on one of the inflated fixed price options to make sure you are able to land this unicorn.
